Mokena resident Jason Zimmer has opened Parlay Mortgage and Property, 16626 W. 159th St. Suite 704 in Lockport, bringing his customer service-oriented business to the Homer area.

"I'm thrilled to be back in the Chicago area with my friends and family," Zimmer said. "I chose to get into the mortgage business, and after honing my skills with another company, I decided it was time to go out on my own. With the opening of the I-355 extension, the Lockport/Homer Township area will be booming, and I envision my company to be driven by building and maintaining valued relationships with our community."

In addition, Zimmer earned his degree in criminal justice from the Illinois State University.
