About Jason Hecht
Jason was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He started his career in the mortgage industry in New York as a Loan Officer and has more than a decade of valuable loan origination and management experience originating and overseeing over half a billion of dollars in loan production over the course of his career. He moved to California in 2004.
Jason’s diverse industry experience and his in-depth product and market knowledge have led him to various management capacities throughout his career. These management posts have included stints as Area Sales Manager for Preferred Empire Mortgage, one of the most successful mortgage companies in New York City, and as a Sales Manager and Product Manager for Pacifica Mortgage. In 2007 he left Pacifica Mortgage to join his long time friend, David Mechanic as a partner in Mechanic Mortgage Group where he continues to utilize his experience to service his diverse clientele.
Jason’s unique background in both sales and management has provided him with insights into the best practices of successful Loan Officers and has allowed him to observe and apply the most effective ways to meet client’s diverse financing needs.
Jason lives in Culver City and remains a devoted and avid baseball fan. He is an amateur stand up comedian and musician.
